December 09, 2007: Landed Gives Back
   
On December 1st, 2007, Landed Entertainments and Café Neo
teamed up to start off the holidays with a bang, celebrating Landed’s
Third Bi-Annual Christmas Party. This year’s
festivities also came with an added touch of holiday spirit,
in the form of a toy and clothing drive. All night,
toys and clothes were brought in for needy children around
Toronto, marking the expansion of Landed’s relationship
with Serving Charity, run by El Mocambo manager, Abbas
Jahangiri. For over a year, The El Mocambo and Landed
have been partners in the ongoing showcase The Film Jam,
but are now teaming up to give back to those in need, by
making and distributing food and water to the homeless. In
the coming weeks, we will be launching a new website where,
together with Landed and Serving Charity, you can make
a real difference in someone’s life.
